ASTHMA: Nutritional Support Protocol

submitted by: admin on 11/27/2013

Asthma is found across all age groups and it presents itself as wheezing but sometimes only as a cough. The prevalence of asthma is increasing and air pollution is probably part of the reason. Taking a careful history may identify what is new in the environment that could explain why it happened. Traffic pollution is an important factor, especially if one lives near a freeway. Lifestyle management is the key to success in managing the symptoms and cause of asthma. There are also a number of supplements that can help decrease the cause and symptoms of asthma.

*Dr. Saputo recommends the Lifestyle, Dietary, and Supplement protocols listed below as considerations for treatment for Asthma.
