The initial diagnosis at age 33 was a shock. Andrea chose a mastectomy and a reconstruction was done at the original surgery. She found it very difficult to tell her family and close friends. A support group was very helpful. A positive attitude helped.

Appreciation of disciplines other than mainstream medicine broadens the scope of care and deepens the options. Healing Circles are a classic example of integrative health care. Chronic stress can make us dependent on a chronic adrenalin response. Change your diet to high quality carbohydrates, proteins and fats.
