Being underweight has a higher risk for dying than being overweight in older healthy people according to an article published in the March 2014 issue of the Journal of Epidemiology and Public Health. A study from the UK and published in the December 2014 issue of JAMA on 6500 people aged 52 and above documented that if you felt older than your actually age that your mortality over the 8 year study period was higher.
