Exercise and Good Diet Extend Life in Elderly Women

Women in their 70s who exercise and eat healthy amounts of fruits and vegetables have a longer life expectancy according to information published in the Journal of the American Geriatric Society. In a study of 713 elderly women, women who were the most physically active and had the highest comsumption of fruits and vegetables were 8 times more likely to live 5 years than women with the lowest rates.
