Mainstream treatment for inflammatory bowel diseases such as ulcerative colitis and Crohn's Disease sometimes require very aggressive treatment with steroids, TNF alpha blockers, chemotherapy, and even surgery, but they also require nutritional support of the GI tract with probiotics, l-glutamine, quercetin, digestive enzymes, essential fatty acids, and optimal nutrition.
