Many pediatricians are firing patients and their families if they refuse vaccines for their children! Two studies on this subject showed that 20-30% of pediatricians have fired patient because of this. Patients are beginning to do their own research about the validity of immunizations and there is clearly room for controversy. Yet our pediatricians simply follow the guidelines of the CDC and assume that their data is based on good science. This is far from the truth. Vaccines are a good idea in principle, but we must do the scientific studies that document that they are beneficial and safe. This has not been done for most vaccines. Nonetheless, the CDC recommends more than 60 vaccines by the time a child reaches the age of 18.
