Some strange pages

How can this sort of thing happen? Exactly why would a established web design provider allow these kinds of pages? https://themeforest.net/category/wordpress/?term=dena+w+fbb+abs Would they attempt this intentionally or could they be just hacked? Like, I've bought templates from themeforest before, never imagined they'd allow this sort of pages.
