Being in better shape makes physical activities easier. Getting into the zone is another way to do this. Effort is less with more confidence and focus. The way we practice should also include less effort.

How we move reflects us physically, emotionally, and spiritually. It reveals how we relate to life. There are even social aspects of how it is okay to move, especially in natural movements of the hips. It reveals how we relate to life. Restricted movement is related to social reasons.

Effort is misunderstood. If we fail we tend to try harder, even though it did not lead to success. Practice to make things easier on purpose leads to improvement. As things get easier, you are getting better.

Trying harder is a reflection of not having mastered a particular skill. When we get better at whatever we're doing, it becomes easy and effortless.

Too much effort is not necessarily more effective and often creates a negative outcome. Sugi touch focuses on the way you move or don’t move. Removing effort helps us relax into who we are and how we express ourselves.
