Exercise reduces our risk of dying from heart attacks by at least 40%. More TV and less exercise leads to obesity and all of its complications. Sports are a great way to do the movement we like and stay fit. The mechanism of plaque formation and inflammation is explained. Exercise benefits angina, congestive heart failure, and abnormal rhythms.

Can advertising in medical journals affect what pharmaceutal drugs are recommended? Research has shown that journals that are supported through advertising are more likely to support a new drug. Journals that get most of their income from subscriptions are more likely to publish articles and reports against a new drug.

A study done at the University of Navarra in Spain published an article in the Journal of the American Heart Association in June of 2014 that followed more than 13,000 healthy people with an average age of 37 for more than 8 years.
