Spices Lower Triglycerides from a High Fat Meal

Eating a high fat diet leads to elevated tryglyceride levels. Adding spices during preparation can lower the level of triglycerides that can occur after consumption. Some examples of spices that do this include cinnamon, turmeric, rosemary, oregano, black pepper, cloves, garlic and paprika! This points out the importance of eating a diet that is balanced and has adequate veggies and fruits, seeds and nuts, and herbs and spices. Eating close to nature is the best way for humans to nourish themselves.
