The community carries within itself its own special powers of regeneration. Technology cannot do what connection to spirit can. Conventional medicine is radically depraved of the capacity to access, benefit from, and participate in the regenerative powers of the universe. This is our number one health problem in the US. The goal in healing should not be to discover some miracle that will restore health. There is something in the human capacity to create peace, forgiveness, and a disposition that whether ultimate healing occurs or not, each person is disposed to be open to the powers of the universe to guide them. Death is not a failure, it is the ultimate act of life. Death is part of our story.
